A big hello to everyone 🙂  It’s been 7 months since I last posted anything on my blog and I can see things have changed a lot on WP – I’m still getting my head around it!  I hope everyone is well and I look forward to catching up with you all in time.

We are heading into late autumn here but this is an image I took during summer last February.  Just after sunrise I spotted this spider repairing her web in beautiful light 🙂  I hope everyone is well!
Hello again everyone and hope that you are all well!! After an extended and unplanned absence from the blog I am finally posting my first image for 2015 🙂  Taken about 30 minutes after sunrise, the bubbles on the water surface are from a large flock of various water birds I disturbed (accidentally) as I came around the tree line.

Nulla Vale shortly after sunrise a few weeks ago. Â Today has been a horrible day (with night to come) here in Victoria – fires all around, watching the wind and warning app on the phone, radio is on and fingers crossed. Â Thoughts to those impacted already.
Heading towards late summer the Dahlias are starting to bloom. Â One of my favourites at this time of year, the sheer variety of their shapes and colours always amazes me.
Yesterday was a day of dramatic thunderstorms. Â During the afternoon, before the later storms, it became very hot and humid. Â The surface of the dam was busy! (Click on the images for the best view).
