Hello again 🙂  The weather has turned very cold in the last day or so which isn’t surprising – our official start  of winter is this coming Thursday and winter pruning starts this week at work.  The image today is from last summer which I found when looking for something else in the chaotic mess that is my hard drive and I realised I haven’t posted a black and white image for a long time!  I’m a little behind on my reader but am catching up.  Hope you enjoy 🙂

It’s been a LONG time!
A big hello to everyone 🙂  It’s been 7 months since I last posted anything on my blog and I can see things have changed a lot on WP – I’m still getting my head around it!  I hope everyone is well and I look forward to catching up with you all in time.
My first post for 2017 is of a juvenile rabbit enjoying the shelter of the shade on a very hot afternoon a few weeks ago. Click in for a larger view.
Avenue of Honour – MMC 35
This is an image of the Avenue of Honour at Macedon. Â An important part of Australian culture, there are 547 known avenues in Australia. Â Each tree represents a person who saw or died in wartime service, generally in the First World War. Â The planting of this one was initially finished in August 1918 – you can read the local newspaper article here. Â Also this is my submission for the 35th Monochrome Madness hosted by Leanne Cole and posted Wednesday mornings (ADST)
