White Feather

It’s been a very long time since I have posted anything –  a lot has happened as I’m sure is the case for everyone. In August 2017 I received a diagnosis of primary breast cancer and 11 months after finishing active treatment I have recently had a diagnosis of secondary or metastatic breast cancer.

Thanks to a wonderful support network of family and friends I am very positive and decided to resume the blog and given the theme an update…getting out with my camera is a good thing and the blog is good motivation to do so 🙂

We recently had a wonderful stay at Johanna near Cape Otway and visited many of the beautiful beaches along The Great Ocean Road.  At a small beach called Wild Dog Cove I found so many beautiful things – this is a wet feather with a guest attached!

Watching…

I took this image in December during our last summer.  It was an image I’d forgotten about as it was a busy time with work and Christmas. I’m endlessly fascinated by the wonderful world of spiders, their camouflage and habits.  Click in to see the details of this spider sitting in her summer flower –  watching and waiting 🙂

Whispering grass…..

I took this using a slow shutter speed to catch the beautiful movement of the grass looking up towards the sky.
