This is my entry for the MMC week 41, hosted and curated by Leanne Cole and devised by Leanne and Laura Macky. In my mind this image is called “Broken” – nothing was straight and there were thunderstorms on the horizon – a beautiful bleak landscape 🙂
Please take time to look at Leanne’s post – lots of monochrome talent form all over the globe 🙂
This is beautiful, timeless.
Thank you Rajiv, I liked your tree too 🙂
The thundery clouds added a lot to this picture giving it a more devastating mood, great composition 🙂
Thank you as always 🙂
What a gorgeous image Lisa and such a fabulous old tree.
I love the perspective you have used here. Its wonderful, with those clouds peeking over the horizon. Really great to see you back 😃😃
Hello Robyn, glad you liked it, and glad to be back 🙂 🙂
😃😃
Another stunning landscape Lisa….love it
Thank you Jude!

Thanks and for taking time to comment 🙂
Stunning!
Praise indeed – much appreciated!
Beautiful! I love the composition of the photo.
Thanks James and for commenting.
So broken .. And so strong
You’ve summed it up perfectly 🙂
That’s a dramatic old ghost of a tree! You really show it off well!
Cheers Dave, it was a wonderful old tree.
a powerful image Lisa against the ghost of a stormy sky!
Hello! It was a powerful tree and yes, the stormy sky seemed so fitting.
Great photo, my friend!
The tree looks great – a beautiful twisted shape, nice sky as well.
Your low viewpoint works well adding to the drama. I also like the unbroken ‘twin’ to the right which evokes thought of the passage of time.
Love this image, well taken.
