Something a bit different to my general posts – some architecture! Taken at Werribee Park Mansion a week ago, this covered walkway was beautifully lit in the strong afternoon sun. Built between 1874 and 1877, I could imagine these walkways providing relief from the Australian summer afternoons.

Good job here with a high key subject and a lot of lines that could have easily gone all wrong.

Yes, I have the grid on in my viewfinder and on in my Photoshop work space and some images just do not look straight – even though they are – which is when I turn the grids off and just use my eye to get it to feel right.
Beautiful architecture…love all those lines and shapes…very nicely processed in BW!
It is a very beautiful building, I really like all the intricate details.
