I took this image in December – a cloudless day with golden grass (and very harsh light!). I was struck by the simplicity of the scene, the curve of the background and just this tree..sitting on the fence 🙂
Robyn from Captivate Me included me in the B&W Challenge where you post 5 consecutive B&W images and nominate a person to take up the challenge with each post, so this is my Day 2 of 5. In turn, today I am nominating Truel’s Blog. I must stress, this is NOT a have to participate challenge but something that might be fun, but only if you have the time and/or inclination and feel comfortable with it 🙂

Love the simplicty of this shot! Special ..
Thank you as always Julie – hope you are well 🙂
Simple lines still can tell a story. Nice composition Lisa.
Thank you 🙂
Simply perfect! 🙂
Thanks Noeline 😀
I like this very much, Lisa – wonderful Minimalism, very well done! But – and I know its just me -as with some of my Somerset Levels landscapes, I’m seeing that tree as an explosion, the result of a falling bomb or shell. But I still like the picture immensely! Adrian
I can see the explosion 🙂 Glad you liked it.
this beautiful moment capture forever
Spartan composition, perfect! And I like how you have modified the harsh light.
Thank you and for commenting 🙂
gorgeous composition and effect Lisa. It’s simplicity is powerful! You know I love it!!!
😀 😀 – a compliment indeed, thank you!
Saw this passing by yesterday Lisa – a beautiful sight!
Am also taken by the simplicity. Makes me want to slow down to enjoy the moment for an hour or more 😀 ..in the shade!
Even in BW you can see the golden touch on the grass.
Thank you as always – we were on our way to a Christmas tree plantation and I suspect it was the franticness of Christmas that made me stop and look at the scene!
Yes I can understand that. Im glad you stopped 😀
Stunning photo Lisa, love it!!
That’s a really lovely image Lisa. The most simple things can indeed be beautiful 😀
