As some of you will know I have tried many attempts to photograph the hares I see at work – I find them beautiful but very elusive creatures and have probably hundreds of images of them running away! Yesterday I was a little luckier!….
Hi there, from bonnie Scotland! These photos are absolutely beautiful. I have a cottage in Skye and we had four or five wee leverets living under the shed this year. The’ve now grown quite a bit and two of them love to sit in the garden every night. Believe it or not, they really do like to stare at the moon!
Are they somehow related to your work? I especially like the first one because the ears are so striking.
No, not related to work it’s a vineyard but there are many hares happily living on the property.
for me, it’s all about the eyes. Good catch.
Cheers Steve 🙂
Ah, but it only takes one good shot like this post!
Thank you!

Hi Freda, glad you enjoyed them! I occasionally see leverets but they are quite hard to spot 🙂
Aaahhhh, your patience was rewarded! I love the texture and colour you have given us all through the pelt, but those ears! Well done Lisa
Thanks Rach!
Great pictures – the first and the third particularly. I still haven’t managed to get a decent shot of my own 😦
Thank you. I think the first one is my favourite 🙂
