Another outing to the Pyalong area in north central Victoria. As I have mentioned in previous posts, I have a deep appreciation of this landscape. This is only the start of summer, but the grasses have already started to dry and its stark beauty has begun – hence taken in harsh afternoon light.
Similar conditions out in the western US – difficult to render with regular camera, but a real dream for my IR shooting.
Yes I can see that – some of the images on your website are really stunning. I’ve been contemplating for a while whether to take the plunge and have an older camera converted and suspect it is just a matter of time 🙂
Makes IR shooting a whole lot easier than with film. There is still a bit of work that needs doing when you finally get your images captured – but nothing too daunting.
